Dental Services

Dental disease is common in dogs and cats and is often overlooked.  Dental problems, specifically periodontal disease, can lead to pain, tooth loss and bacterial infections that can damage other organ systems (particularly the heart, and kidneys).  Most pets will encounter some degree of periodontal disease in their lifetimes if preventative strategies are not employed.  We feel that maintaining good dental health is critical to keeping pets healthy and happy.  Our staff is eager to educate our clients about homecare strategies and we offer a variety of products for the prevention of gum disease at home.  We also provide professional services including assessment, cleaning, and extractions (when needed).
